Only .925 Sterling Silver, .999 Pure Silver, 22K Gold and genuine Swarovski® gemstones and pearls are used for all our jewellery brands making them safe for all especially children to wear.
All of the components used for the children’s jewellery range – Fairy Tale Jewels – comply with ( British Standards) BS EN71-3:1995 . It specifies requirements and test methods for the migration of the elements antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and selenium from toy materials and from parts of toys except materials not accessible. There is no legislation available currently in the UK and EU for children’s jewellery so we decided to put the components through the same stringent tests used for testing for toxins in children’s toys. Your safety is our number one priority!
Adult supervision is of the upmost importance when jewellery and children are involved. Jewellery purchased for children under the age of three are recommended for use as heirloom, keepsake, memory gifts. They should be worn for special occasions such as Christenings, Baptisms, Photos, etc...and tucked away as treasured keepsakes.
Children over the age of three should still be supervised when wearing their precious jewels. They should be removed when engaging in child's play to prevent damages and breakage.
Although the finest quality stringing materials are always used to ensure a top-quality product, accidents can and do occur. We ask that you exercise caution in the event this situation arises and be aware that our jewels do contain small parts that could present themselves as choking hazard.
A safety care card is provided with every jewellery purchase from our exclusive children's line : Fairy Tale Jewels
